One of the many advantages of purchasing a Sunstone permanent jewelry welder™ over any other is being able to choose from five different, safe optical solutions. Just to be clear, here's a list (ordered by price, lowest to highest):
Why You'll Like the Upgraded ADL
You should pay particular attention to the Upgraded ADL as a preferred choice in optics because of its clear lens. The lens on the basic ADL is green, which obscures the work space somewhat. A portion of our customers don't mind the green lens, but other have expressed difficulty in seeing the work space. The Upgraded ADL solves that issue.
More Options. More Productivity.
Which optics solution is best for you? That depends on what you're using your Sunstone micro welder for.
For permanent jewelry artists who prefer to weld free hand (meaning they don't use a stylus holder), the Safety Glasses, ADL, and Upgraded ADL may work. For PJ artists who are less mobile, any of the ADL's or scopes will work just fine.
For bench jewelers, the Arm-Mounted Microscope is the preferred choice. When not in use, the optics can be pushed out of the work area, keeping your bench clear and uncluttered. The 5x optics improve accuracy and make details easier to manage.
Universal Connectivity
Remember that Sunstone's optic choices are compatible with both Orion and Zapp permanent jewelry welders. Find the welder you like and match it with the optics that make most sense for you. Or, find the optics you like and match them with the welder that makes most sense for you. Either way, Sunstone has a solution for you!
